Thanks to our supporters Lisk protocol and partners, Ledger Lady, Adamur (especially Andrew, Santiago, IJay & Bratipah)—the program successfully expanded its reach, including launching the Kisumu City track. Builders found Lisk’s DevRel Office Hours with Muhammad Talha and Andrew particularly insightful. We are proud to share the program’s success, structured learning approach, and key outcomes.
Program Highlights
Key Achievements
- 36 graduates successfully completed the program.
- 25+ capstone projects currently under development.
- 250+ smart contracts deployed on Ethereum Sepolia & Lisk Sepolia testnets.
- 200+ hours of training, mentorship, and developer support.
- 500+ builders added to the Web3Clubs community.
Structured Hybrid Learning Approach
Cohort 7 embraced a dynamic hybrid learning model that combined the flexibility of online sessions with the hands-on experience of in-person bootcamps at the Web3Clubs Lab in Nairobi. This structure allowed developers to access world-class Solidity training remotely, while also benefiting from intensive in-person mentorship, collaboration, and project-building opportunities. The format ensured a balanced and inclusive learning experience, catering to both remote learners and those able to attend physically.
ETHDada: Women in Web3
Empowering Women to Build
In a powerful initiative to increase female representation in Web3, Web3Club in collaboration with LedgerLady led the ETHDada initiative, a dedicated women’s track during Cohort 7. Over the course of 16 weeks, participants received comprehensive Solidity training complemented by weekly feedback sessions. The program partnered with Women in Ethereum Protocol, successfully facilitating the entry of four participants into their cohort. Beyond technical learning, the initiative also created valuable networking opportunities, including a brunch event at the ETHiopia pop-up city. The track culminated in the deployment of 11 projects across both Lisk and Ethereum, showcasing the impact of intentional efforts to empower women in blockchain development.

Looking ahead
Web3Clubs Cohort 7 has proven that structured, hybrid learning can empower developers to create impactful blockchain projects. Through mentorship, real-world problem-solving, and community-driven learning, participants gained the technical and collaborative skills needed to innovate in Web3.
We look forward to Cohort 8, where we aim to expand outreach, refine our training modules, and onboard more diverse talent into blockchain development.
